Our story
It began in a parish.
In 2022 our founder, Adrian Bialonczyk, was running the young‑adult ministry at St. Raymond’s Catholic Church in Menlo Park, California, while consulting in quantitative finance. His parish priests — Dominicans — challenged him on the idea of an explicitly Catholic business, and on a harder question underneath it: whether investing through higher‑frequency trading was speculation, and whether it was morally a good.
The research that followed led from Catholic investing to the Jesuit Daily Examen, which a weekly small group he belonged to practiced — and to the conviction that the practice could be shaped around each person’s actual week. Through many iterations it became a Plan of Life: short daily habits of prayer, reading and the sacraments, modeled after Msgr. Roger Landry’s book Plan of Life and the Catholic tradition of daily norms of piety.
Today, from New York, BuildSaints is a Catholic agent for spiritual growth the way you want it — to grow closer to God, and to help us get to Heaven.
